Description

To get to the "Faleza" sector you will have to pass trough the "Scorpioni" sector. From the cliff on the side of the road just after you have passed "Hotel Roman", take the path to the leftthat goes to "Grota Haiducilor" (2 min.) and then further to "Grota cu Aburi" (The Steam Cave). Just behind "Hotel Roman" you will see a small boulder with a blue triangle painted on it. Turn to the right after the boulder and take the faint path that goes straight up on the mountainside. The "Scorpioni" sector is divided into two cliffs, one lower to the left of the path and one a little bit higher on the right side of the path. Follow the path further up, leaving the "Scorpioni" cliffs behind and after another 5-10min. you will reach the left side of the "Faleza" sector.

The wall is in the sun from early morning until evening. Climbing is better in spring and autumn. In general the walls are not wet or they dry quickly. However, after long periods of rain there are some routes which can take a long time to dry out.
