Description - Translated with Yandex Tanslate

The area of Mateias comprises a wall of limestone with heights of max. 70-80m. The southern orientation and located in an open area it makes it ideal for the exits in times of cold, in summer but will not be indicated.

Once at the base of the wall (alt ~1000m) identify immediately a cave from the right which start a few routes on which you can put the stick through the back. For these, we will bypass the wall to the left, and after we climb approx 20m on a little valley we encounter a platform with two pitons. They put the leg on the left of the cave and all of this is insurance to traverse right at the top next. The withdrawal is made: for the first two trails follow the ridge to the left, and for the last two trails we follow to the right.

The classic trails dating back from the 80's, most of them having passages imposed by artificial and quite much grass. The degrees of difficulty further data are indicative. Rings existing are in good condition, but some lengths are required, additional insurance (hog rings and nuts).

Access and retreat - Translated with Yandex Tanslate

Access route: The area is located in the northern part of the county of Arges, at about 15 km from Campulung Mu?cel and 70 km from Pitesti. Coming from Câmpulung, once we get past the Mausoleum, is made in the left a paved road that goes towards the mining of limestone. After approx 250m from tarmac abandon the road and begin a traverse to the right, on a level curve, through the spruce forest. The trail barely visible us out in a few minutes in an area without trees, in the steep slope. Here you don't have to climb the slope, directing us to the wall what it sees increasingly better.
